Route Description: uphill from trailhead to Hot Springs (there's a few pools to soak in) then back.
Distance: 2.36 miles
Elevation: from 631' at TH to 1468' at springs; ascent 836. Consistent gain (no flat parts) of 354' per mile hiked uphill.
Conditions: Shaded route, bare earth path, not outrageously rocky, not "easy", trail and pools did suffer this winter and repairs have been made.

Route Description: uphill from TH to Hot Springs then west across trail connector to Cold Springs trail, then turn north to continue uphill to Montecito Peak; then back.
AllTrails: There's no route exactly matching but this one starts from the next TH over (Cold Springs). After the connector at mile 1.4, the trail is the same.
Distance: 6.71 miles
Elev: from 631' at TH to 3175' at summit, total ascent 2935'. Consistent gain (no flat parts) of 437' per mile hiked uphill.
